Digital 3-D

In the past, in order for theater owners to offer the public stereoscopic 3-D motion picture experiences, proprietors had to invest in costly dual-projector systems and expensive polarized silver screens on which stereoscopic 3-D movies could be shown. Recently, 3-D digital systems have been developed, thus enabling 3-D digital movies to be shown in traditional neighborhood theaters and Cineplexes, formerly restricted to 2-D movies.

Also, single digital projectors, called "2-K's," have now been perfected, making it possible to view digital 3-D shown through one projector instead of two. This eliminates the expense of buying and installing a second digital projector. This development makes the showing of stereoscopic 3-D movies dramatically more affordable for theater owners. These new digital projector systems also enable theaters to show digital movies in both 2-D and 3-D, making stereoscopic 3-D accessible to a  massive worldwide audience.

3-D Entertainment Media has acquired from 3-D 3000, a technological 3-D production company,  the rights to a  revolutionary, patented single-camera 3-D system called "LL3D." LL3D provides a phenomenal cost-saving means of showing 3-D motion pictures with a single projector, whether or not the theater has "converted" to 3-D. Upon request, these savings will be explained by a 3-D Entertainment Media representative.
